Goatee was Clay Wheeler's roommate that was in Clay's house up until the C-4 explosion in Live Free or Die Hard.

Goatee was at Clay Wheeler's house playing the video game Gears of War on his home console. Clay asked him if he was messing with his computer after it began glitching, to which his response was "No." He was killed in the explosion along with Clay after the latter pressed the delete key on his keyboard that triggered the explosion.
