Jeremy John Irons (born 19 September 1948) is an English actor who played Simon Gruber in Die Hard with a Vengeance.
Ironically, at one point his voice was regarded as the perfect male voice, along with actor Alan Rickman. The two would later play brothers in the Die Hard film series.
He currently lives in West Cork, Ireland.
Career[]
Jeremy Irons is most famous for his early theater performs in West London and his roles in films such as The Lion King, The Man in the Iron Mask (with Dennis Hayden) and Dead Ringers. He starred on the Showtime TV series The Borgias, which ran for three seasons. His recent movie was 2024's The Beekeeper opposite fellow British actor Jason Statham, who co-starred with Bruce Willis in the first two Expendables movies.
