Los Angeles International Airport (commonly called LAX) is the main airport of Los Angeles, California and is seen briefly in Die Hard.

John's plane lands at LAX and he briefly converses with a passenger on the plane about jet lagbefore leaving the plane and entering one of the aiport's terminals. John lit a cigarette with his Zippo Lighter and proceeded to head for the doors to call a taxi. He saw a man with a sign reading 'J. McClane'. John found out that he was a limo driver appointed by the Nakatomi Corporation, and he left the airport right away.
