The Steyr SSG 69 is a sniper rifle that appears in Die Hard. It was used by Special Agent Johnson when he shoots at John McClane on the roof of Nakatomi Plaza.

Special Agent Johnson and his partner Agent Johnson board the helicopter while "Special" puts on his cap and arms himself with a SSG 69. As the helicopter approaches the helipad, Special Agent Johnson already sees somebody firing rounds, unknown it is John McClane saving the hostages from the roof that is about to explode. Special Agent Johnson aims his gun at McClane and begins shooting at him. McClane dives away from the gunfire as the helicopter goes around again so "Special" can take a few more shots. But before that can be done, he is killed in the subsequent roof explosion set off by Hans Gruber.
